Sponsors bring joy to our communities
The month of December was filled with joy and excitement for our residents!
Thanks to the generous contributions from our amazing sponsors, our families truly felt the support of the Winter Park community.
The WPHA Board of Commissioners, Fannie Hillman & Associates and The Women's Club of Winter Park provided gifts for 11 families as participants of the Adopt-A-Family Program. WPHA joined in the excitement by giving families popcorn tins for the night before Christmas.
Saint John Lutheran Church and Morganic Meats sponsored a shopping spree for our Tranquil Terrace Apartment residents. Seniors were able to purchase meat and produce at the local farmers market, a fun time was had by all.
Winter Park Police Department assisted WPHA staff by providing bikes and toys at our "Merry Meadows Holiday Event", families took pictures with Santa, received gifts and delicious food from Jason's Deli.
IDEA Insurance Agency provided wonderful food for our WPHA Holiday Luncheon for our residents at Tranquil Terrace. Seniors delighted in holiday music and fun activities with prizes.
Flowers Temple Church of God in Christ went door to door delivering holiday gift baskets to all our residents at Tranquil Terrace.
A heart-felt thank you goes to our sponsors and staff for making the month of December spectacular!

ROSS Grant recap for December 2024
As we approach a new year, December was a perfect time to begin reassessing the current needs of our residents.
Food insecurity is an identified concern. Many of our elderly and disabled residents face challenges purchasing and preparing nutritious meals. Monthly food pantry continues to be helpful. Additionally, initiatives have begun to partner with agencies to assist our residents.
Residents were appreciative of the food provided during the holidays.
December: a month to remember at WPHA
